The West Fargo High School Dance Team, known as the Packatahna’s, captured the National Championship in High Kick at the Dance Team Union Nationals in Orlando, Florida. Winning by just 0.6 points, the team celebrated an emotional and hard-fought victory, their first national title since 2020.

For the second consecutive year, Durban High School (DHS) showcased their dominance in the Clifton T20 Tournament, claiming the prestigious Centenary Cup with an undefeated record. Facing a strong Westville Boys’ High team in the final, DHS posted 161/9, with standout performances from Ismaeel Omar (38) and Dhilan Naraidu (29). A fiery bowling attack led by captain Bayanda Majola, who struck early to dismiss key batsmen, ensured DHS defended their total, sealing a 15-run victory.

The 5A state swimming meet at BYU was nothing short of historic, with 12 state records falling across 22 events. Seven overall individual state records, three overall relay state records, and two 5A-specific records were set in a meet that longtime coaches called unprecedented. Olympus Abe Astle dominated with four state records, while Highland’s Veronica Black and Brighton’s Luan Barnard also made history with their record-breaking performances.
