Despite battling illness, Duke signee Emilee Skinner delivered a heroic performance to lead Ridgeline to a 65-46 win over previously unbeaten Snow Canyon, capping off a perfect season and the team’s third consecutive 4A state championship. Skinner tallied 21 points, nine rebounds, and three assists, while teammates Brooke Smith (18 points) and Abby Munford (14 points, 10 rebounds) stepped up to dominate the supporting cast battle.

Ridgeline’s smothering defense and team-first mentality overwhelmed Snow Canyon, who struggled to generate offense beyond star Olivia Hamlin’s 24 points. After a tied game early in the second quarter, Ridgeline surged with a 19-7 run and never looked back. Skinner, who ends her high school career with 2,305 points, received a standing ovation late in the game as she was helped off the court, while Hamlin finished her career second all-time in state scoring with 2,513 points.
