The 2024 National Dance Alliance (NDA) National Championship took place from March 1 to 3 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, bringing together the top high school dance teams from across the United States. Over three action-packed days, teams competed in various divisions including Jazz, Pom, Game Day, and Hip Hop, with each performance judged on technical skill, creativity, and overall performance quality. Schools such as Byron Nelson High School (TX) and Palm Beach Central (FL) delivered memorable routines that captured the audience’s attention and earned top scores, highlighting the high standards and fierce competition of the event.
Known for its rigorous requirements, the NDA Nationals saw teams that had spent months perfecting their routines, blending athleticism, precision, and artistry to impress both judges and spectators. Beyond the performances, students participated in team-building events and workshops, further emphasizing the competition's focus on personal growth and community. For many dancers, the NDA Nationals serves as a career-highlight event and a celebration of their commitment to school spirit and performing arts.
The championship concluded with award ceremonies that recognized top performers, outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth. Many of the finalists will continue their dance journey in regional and collegiate-level competitions. The 2024 NDA Nationals reinforced its position as one of the premier dance competitions in U.S. high school sports, leaving lasting memories for all those involved.
