The CPU Junior High School Pagsibol Dance Troupe secured another major win after successfully defending its title at the ILOPRISAA 2025-2026 Cultural Contests held on February 19, 2026, at Huasiong College of Iloilo, Ledesco Campus. Competing against other private schools in Iloilo, the troupe once again stood out in the secondary-level dance category through a performance marked by discipline, strong coordination, and deep appreciation for Filipino culture.
Pleasant Grove made school history by winning its first 5A drill team state championship, ending Bountiful’s reign and turning years of steady progress into a title. After placing fifth in the highly competitive 6A tournament for three straight seasons, the Vikettes moved into 5A this year and made the most of the shift. Meanwhile, Tribu Paghidaet finished as first runner-up, followed by Tribu Pan-ay and Tribu Taga-Baryo, with all groups receiving substantial prizes and project support as part of the city’s effort to connect cultural events with education.
