Royal Orchard Dance Crew Dazzles at Provincials with First-Place Victory

The Royal Orchard Middle School (ROMS) dance crew made history by securing first place in both their category and overall age group at the prestigious Strive Dance Competition on April 23, 2025, in Milton. This was the school’s first time competing at the provincial level, and their dynamic performance celebrated cultural diversity and student leadership.

The Royal Orchard Middle School (ROMS) dance crew made history by securing first place in both their category and overall age group at the prestigious Strive Dance Competition on April 23, 2025, in Milton. This was the school’s first time competing at the provincial level, and their dynamic performance celebrated cultural diversity and student leadership.

The 21-member team, made up of Grades 6 to 8 students, choreographed a powerful original routine titled “Together We Are One.” Blending global dance styles and cultural pride, the performance reflected the Peel District School Board’s values of inclusivity, creativity, and unity—making the ROMS crew a standout symbol of student excellence and collaboration.
