The Highland High School Hawkettes from Gilbert soared to victory at the 2025 UDA National Dance Competition, claiming first place in the D1 Small Varsity Pom Division. Known for their dynamic choreography, sharp motions, and seamless synchronization, the Hawkettes impressed both judges and audiences with a championship-winning routine that showcased elite precision and unmatched energy.
Led by Coach Ashley Parcell, the team continues to build on an impressive legacy as five-time AIA state champions and now UDA national titleholders. Despite their growing success, the Hawkettes stay grounded in their motto, “Families finish first.” With a culture rooted in unity, humility, and passion, the team’s focus remains on growth, teamwork, and leaving everything on the floor as they prepare to defend their crown in the upcoming season.
