Barron Collier secured the Class 4A regional championship with a 3-1 victory over rival Naples, fueled by a strong first-half performance and a relentless defensive effort. Midfielder Dilan Hernandez opened the scoring, while standout plays from Emerson LaOrden and Logan Tsopanoglou kept the Cougars in control.
The Cougars struck early and maintained their dominance, fending off Naples' offensive pushes with key defensive stops from Javier Gomez and a commanding presence in midfield. Naples fought to stay in the game, but Barron Collier’s efficiency in the final third sealed the win. With the trophy raised high, the Cougars now focus on the state tournament, aiming for even greater success.
