Clovis High School junior, Hayden Olson, has achieved international recognition, winning first place in her age group at a prestigious dance competition in London. Her journey began at the regional Thunderstruck competition in Fresno, where she impressed judges and earned an invitation to nationals in Las Vegas, ultimately securing an all-expenses-paid trip to compete internationally. Her performance not only earned her the highest score in the competition but also reinforced her dedication to the art of dance.

The Exeter High School boys' soccer team capped off an undefeated season with a 2-0 victory over top-seeded Bedford in the Division I state championship. Led by standout striker Alan Barretto, who scored both goals, and a rock-solid defense anchored by senior goalkeeper Alex Fooa, the Blue Hawks secured their sixth state title, their first since 2016. Their 17-0-3 record silenced doubters and cemented their status as the best team in New Hampshire.

Despite facing a series of challenges this season, the Summit High School girls' rugby team triumphed to claim their 17th-consecutive state title, continuing their dominance in the sport. The season was marred by injuries to key players, including junior Teagan Barth and senior Olivia Lyman, which forced the team to adapt and build stronger chemistry. The Summit squad, led by head coach Karl Barth, showcased resilience and determination, overcoming obstacles to maintain their winning streak.

Mountain Crest set the tone early in the 4A girls' soccer championship, scoring twice in the first three minutes to seize control and eventually defeat Timpanogos 3-1. Led by standout performances from Hadli Barrera and a rock-solid defense, the Mustangs showcased the dominance that defined their season, reclaiming the state title for the third time in four years.

After months of preparation, the Olympus High School girls' soccer team outlasted Brighton in a dramatic penalty shootout to win the 5A state championship. Goalkeeper Joss Baker delivered two clutch saves, while the Titans converted all four of their penalties to secure a 4-2 PK victory after 100 scoreless minutes. The triumph marks Olympus’s first state title since 2020, denying Brighton its first crown in a decade.

The Bishop England Girls High School swept aside the competition enroute to a third consecutive state championship. This year marked their first appearance in the South Carolina High School Swim League (SCHSL) 4A following success in 3A in 2023 and 2022 respectively.

The Charlotte Cardinals Rugby Club made history by winning the High School Boys National Championship for the club division in May, marking a significant achievement for the three-year-old, all-volunteer nonprofit organization. With players and coaches hailing from diverse countries like New Zealand, Samoa, South Africa, Scotland, Ireland, and the U.S., the club's victory underscores the growing popularity of rugby beyond the West Coast. This win also makes the Charlotte Cardinals the first team on the East Coast to claim the prestigious title.
