St. George’s College dance group showcased their talent on the international stage, winning three trophies at the All Dance America competition in Panama. Competing against top dance groups from across the region, they secured first place in the modern/contemporary category while earning second and third-place finishes in the open dance categories.

Malanda State High School’s senior girls' cricket team has been crowned state champions in the Street Smarts Secondary Schools T20 Cricket Challenge. The team displayed exceptional skill and determination, securing victory over Shalom College Bundaberg in the grand final. Their success marked the culmination of an outstanding journey through district, regional, and North Queensland rounds before dominating the state finals in Brisbane.

Hoërskool Pionier made history by securing their first-ever title at the SPAR KZN Schoolgirls Fast 5s Netball Challenge, emerging as the Northern KZN Regional champions in Dundee. After a closely contested final against Vryheid High School—who had earlier held them to a draw—Pionier turned up the heat in the second half to secure a 14-9 win and etch their name onto the trophy.

Epsom College's cricket teams had a summer to remember, recording a total of four national titles, with boys teams and girls teams winning two each. It represents a record-breaking season which saw the most cricket success for the school in their history.

Students from Camarines Sur National High School (CSNHS) showcased Filipino talent on the global stage at the First Yogyakarta International Dance Carnival in Indonesia. Competing against teams from South Africa, India, South Korea, Colombia, and Indonesia, the group won the championship title in the street dance category and secured a 2nd runner-up finish in folk dance. Their performance highlighted Bicolano culture and devotion to Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia, earning praise for their precision and artistry.

Windhoek High School U/19 triumphed in a nail-biting 27–26 final against Windhoek Gymnasium to be crowned the 2024 Capricorn Schools Netball League champions. A. Shipena Secondary secured third place as the curtain closed on a thrilling season that saw fierce competition from 85 teams across Namibia.

Two talented dancers from Eshowe High School, Amukelwa Xulu and Sifundo Mpungose, have made South Africa proud by representing the country at the prestigious UDO World Championship in Blackpool. After dominating local and provincial dance sports leagues, they earned spots on the all-star national team and showed off their skills on an international platform.

Adi Cakobau School (ACS) has emerged as the new champion of the 2024 Crest Chicken Secondary Schools Netball competition, edging out the defending champions, Suva Grammar School (SGS), in a thrilling final. The match, held at the Netball Centre in Laucala Bay, Suva, was a nail-biter, with ACS clinching a narrow 20-19 victory to secure the title. This win marks a significant achievement for ACS, as they dethrone SGS, who had dominated the competition in the previous year.

Southland Boys displayed their championship pedigree with a 32-15 victory over King’s High School in the Southern Schools Rugby Championship final. Leading 19-0 at halftime, Southland Boys’ weathered a strong second-half comeback from King’s, who closed the gap to 26-15 before Southland Boys’ sealed the win. Centre Crenshaw Conroy set the tone early, scoring within the first five minutes and helping his team maintain control throughout the match.

Kingsway High School edged out Kuswag Skool 12–11 in a tense and tightly contested final to win their third consecutive South Coast Regional title at the SPAR KZN Schoolgirls’ Fast 5s Netball Challenge. The derby match, held at Creston College, saw both teams go head-to-head in a game where every point counted, with standout shooter Olwethu Hlongwa scoring all of Kingsway’s first-half points.

Tshiawelo High School’s u/16 netball team brought pride to Limpopo after finishing as runners-up in the Botho division at the SA Netball School Championships, held at Florida High Secondary.
