Scarisbrick Hall School has made history by winning the U13’s netball title at the WSG World Championships in Loughborough. The team emerged as champions after a dominant 19-4 victory over Manchester High School for Girls in the championship match. The win marked a significant milestone for the school, with the players showcasing remarkable teamwork, skill, and determination on the world stage.
The team's success was highlighted by standout performances, particularly from 13-year-old Lily May, who was named the tournament's Player of the Tournament. Headmaster Jeff Shaw praised the players for their resilience and independence, noting that their triumph exemplified the core values of Scarisbrick Hall School. Jade Kamel, a key player, expressed immense pride in the team's achievement, attributing the victory to the hard work and support from their school community.
