Kadamtala Purbo Basabo School Clinches National Cricket Title

Kadamtala Purbo Basabo School and College from Dhaka triumphed in the Prime Bank National School Cricket Tournament 2023-24, defeating Government KG Union High School by a staggering 187 runs in the final at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium. Despite an early collapse at 42/6, Player of the Match Sifat Shahriar staged a stunning comeback with a blistering 148 off 115 balls, propelling his team to a commanding total of 286.

KG Union struggled in their chase and were bowled out for just 99, with Mohammad Hossain securing a spectacular hat-trick. Hridoy Fakir was named Player of the Tournament for his consistent performances. The championship victory was celebrated in a grand prize-giving ceremony, with Prime Bank’s deputy managing director, Nazim A Chowdhury, presenting the awards alongside BCB officials.
