For the second consecutive year, Durban High School (DHS) showcased their dominance in the Clifton T20 Tournament, claiming the prestigious Centenary Cup with an undefeated record. Facing a strong Westville Boys’ High team in the final, DHS posted 161/9, with standout performances from Ismaeel Omar (38) and Dhilan Naraidu (29). A fiery bowling attack led by captain Bayanda Majola, who struck early to dismiss key batsmen, ensured DHS defended their total, sealing a 15-run victory.

Napier Boys’ High School fell short in their quest for a historic first national secondary schools First XI cricket title as rain ended their final match against defending champions Christchurch Boys’ High School. Despite an impressive bowling effort that had Christchurch struggling at 23-4, a crucial 103-run partnership helped the home side post a competitive 181. Napier’s chase was cut short at 122-6 in the 39th over when rain intervened, resulting in a Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) countback loss by 15 runs.

Malanda State High School’s senior girls' cricket team has been crowned state champions in the Street Smarts Secondary Schools T20 Cricket Challenge. The team displayed exceptional skill and determination, securing victory over Shalom College Bundaberg in the grand final. Their success marked the culmination of an outstanding journey through district, regional, and North Queensland rounds before dominating the state finals in Brisbane.

Epsom College's cricket teams had a summer to remember, recording a total of four national titles, with boys teams and girls teams winning two each. It represents a record-breaking season which saw the most cricket success for the school in their history.
