Rising Japanese swimming star Tatsuya Murasa delivered a record-breaking performance at the 47th National JOC Spring Swimming Championships in Tokyo. Just two days after turning 18, Murasa dominated the short course meters (SCM) 200 freestyle, winning gold with a blistering 1:41.47. His time shattered his own previous high school national record of 1:42.14, set last October, and put him just 0.33 seconds shy of the overall Japanese SCM record.
