Green Canyon overcame a slow first half and a rare halftime deficit to defeat Dixie 59-53 and secure the first state championship in program history. Trailing by four at the break, the Wolves stayed composed and leaned on strong defense to keep the game within reach. Although their outside shooting struggled early, they created extra chances by forcing turnovers and increasing the tempo. In the second half, Green Canyon shifted its focus to attacking the basket, and that adjustment changed the game. The Wolves outscored Dixie in the third quarter to take control, then carried that momentum through the final minutes.

Mountain Crest set the tone early in the 4A girls' soccer championship, scoring twice in the first three minutes to seize control and eventually defeat Timpanogos 3-1. Led by standout performances from Hadli Barrera and a rock-solid defense, the Mustangs showcased the dominance that defined their season, reclaiming the state title for the third time in four years.
