Methodist Girls' School (MGS) successfully defended its B Division netball title at the National School Games (NSG) on April 24, securing a commanding 32-14 victory over CHIJ Secondary (Toa Payoh). MGS coach Joanne Ong employed a unique "rojak" approach to training, where players rotated through various positions to enhance their versatility. This strategy proved crucial in the final, as goal shooter Cayla Ho and goal attack Sarah Lim switched roles to compensate for Cayla's knee injury. Despite the change, the dynamic duo delivered impressive performances, with Sarah adapting to goal attack for the first time in a full NSG match.
