St. Thomas Aquinas continued its reign over Florida high school football, securing its sixth consecutive Class 5A state championship with a 34-0 victory over Lakeland. The Raiders' explosive offense and suffocating defense handed the Dreadnaughts their first loss of the season while cementing Aquinas’ legacy as a dominant force in the state.

The Raiders set the tone early, building a 17-0 halftime lead behind touchdowns from Cedric Wyche and Chance Washington. Meanwhile, their defense stifled Lakeland, limiting them to just 209 total yards and forcing two interceptions. Despite Lakeland’s impressive playoff run, they struggled without key playmaker Shanard Clower, allowing St. Thomas Aquinas to cruise to another championship and extend their dynasty.
