St. George’s College Triumphs at All Dance America Competition

St. George’s College dance group showcased their talent on the international stage, winning three trophies at the All Dance America competition in Panama. Competing against top dance groups from across the region, they secured first place in the modern/contemporary category while earning second and third-place finishes in the open dance categories.

Music teacher Anna Roberts and dance coach Kenson Laudat saw the competition as a valuable opportunity for the students, who demonstrated remarkable perseverance and dedication. Team captain Jelecia Silpa reflected on how the experience pushed her out of her comfort zone, while rehearsals extended late into the evening, even during exams. Their success highlights the school’s commitment to artistic excellence and the power of hard work.
