The St. Andrew’s Saints met the St. Patrick Irish in the MHSAA Class I Soccer State Championship on Friday, February 20, 2026. The match brought the two teams together for a high-stakes title game, because apparently, teenagers chasing a ball can still create more drama than most committee meetings.
The championship game was held at Ridgeland High School in Ridgeland, Mississippi. As part of the state finals, the matchup gave both schools a chance to compete for the Class I soccer crown in front of supporters, families, and fans.
