Rafael Pablo Shines at International Meet, Bags Gold and Three Bronzes in Singapore

Rafael Pablo, a Grade 10 student from Ateneo de Manila Junior High School, delivered a stellar performance at the 16th Singapore Island Country Club (SICC) Invitational Swimming Championship, held from July 19–20, 2025. Representing the Philippines in the 14–15 age group, Rafael clinched one gold medal in the 4×50m Freestyle Relay and secured three bronze medals in the 200m Individual Medley, 50m Breaststroke, and 50m Backstroke.

The prestigious meet welcomed 180 top youth swimmers from Singapore, the Philippines, and Taiwan. As a member of the AJHS developmental swim team, Rafael’s strong showing at this elite event highlights his potential and marks a significant step in his athletic journey.
