Orleans High School Captures First-Ever State Championship

Orleans High School made history on Saturday morning. They claimed their first state championship by winning the IHSAA Class 1A boys' basketball state title. The Southern Indiana team defeated Clinton Prairie 64-55 in Indianapolis.

The Bulldogs came alive in the third quarter on an 11-point lead, thanks to a key three-pointer by Rylan Crocker. Although Clinton Prairie battled back to tie the game at 46, Orleans regained momentum and sealed the win.

Leading scorer was Alex DeWitt with 24 points, and Crocker contributed 16 points. The Bulldogs were highly efficient on offense, shooting a team-best of 64% from the field.
