The National University-Nazareth School (NUNS) Lady Bullpups kicked off their 2026 volleyball season with a bang, capturing the 2025 Rebisco Volleyball League (RVL) National and Invitational Finals titles. Fresh off their UAAP Season 88 girls’ championship in December, they carried their winning momentum into the RVL National Capital Region finals, where they triumphed on January 9, 2026. Just one day later, they defeated the same opponents, earning the chance to represent Metro Manila in the national finals. Coach Ray Karl Dimaculangan set clear goals for the team: victory, momentum, and learning from the experience, all of which they accomplished with impressive results.
In the national finals held on January 22, 2026, the Lady Bullpups dethroned Bacolod Tay Tung with a dominant 3-0 victory, claiming the title and a ₱100,000 prize. They completed a perfect nine-game sweep by also winning the Invitational Finals two days later in straight sets. Along the way, star outside spiker Diza Berayo offered fans a behind-the-scenes look at the team’s journey through vlogs, while graduating seniors expressed their excitement for their final RVL championship opportunity. NUNS’ title victories, along with individual honors like MVP Rhose Viane Almendralejo, reflect the team's outstanding performance and preparation for upcoming competitions, including their pursuit of continued success at the Rebisco Volleyball League and future tournaments.
