La Salle College High School capped off a remarkable season with a 2-0 victory over Father Judge to secure its third consecutive Philadelphia Catholic League title — the first three-peat in program history. Led by coach Tom McCaffery and senior captain Liam Connaghan, the No. 3 Explorers scored two late headers to seal the win, proving that teamwork and belief can overcome expectations.
Despite losing much of last year’s star power, La Salle’s mix of veteran leadership and emerging talent carried the team through a grueling postseason. With their “next man up” mentality and unbreakable chemistry, the Explorers showcased resilience, composure, and a championship spirit that has now cemented their place in school history.
