Hilton Head Prep Sweeps Three SCISA State Championships

Heritage Academy and Hilton Head Christian produced strong individual performances at the SCISA 4A swimming championships. Heritage’s Brinson Brossman finished second in the 100 backstroke, while teammates Alex Toma, Henry Johnson, and Ethan Bostjancic each earned third-place finishes in their respective events. Hilton Head Christian’s Tabi Musser won the 500 freestyle and placed third in the 100 butterfly, with Addi Rogers adding a third-place finish in the 100 freestyle. The Eagles also captured the 200 freestyle relay, and Levi Eidson finished second in the 200 freestyle and third in the 100 freestyle for the boys.

The SCHSL championships at the University of South Carolina also saw impressive regional performances. Hilton Head Island finished sixth in Class 4A girls, with Olivia Johnson taking second in the 200 freestyle and third in the 500 freestyle, and Cadence Smith placing third in the 100 butterfly. The girls’ team also earned podium finishes in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays. On the boys’ side, Beaufort, Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, and May River all placed in the top 12, highlighted by Hilton Head Island’s Wes Lucas taking third in the 100 backstroke.
