Charles E Mills Secondary School Clinches Victory at the 2026 TDC Track and Field Interschool Championship

The Charles E Mills Secondary School Relay Team showcased remarkable resilience to defend their title at the 2026 National High School Track and Field Championships, securing another national victory. With dominant performances across events, the school finished the competition with an impressive 29 gold, 20 silver, and 25 bronze medals. The final event, the 4×400 Relay, proved crucial, as the team held off a strong challenge from Charlestown Secondary School, which claimed second place with 27 golds, 27 silvers, and 25 bronze medals. Verchilds High School rounded out the top three with 18 golds, 22 silvers, and 12 bronzes.

Delwayne Delaney, President of St. Kitts’ Nearest Athletics, lauded the high level of competition throughout the event, highlighting the strong performances of athletes, coaches, and administrators. He emphasized that the results reflect the strength of the Federation's athletics program and expressed pride in the athletes' achievements. With the competition now complete, all eyes are on the upcoming 2026 CARIFTA Games in Grenada, where many of these athletes will represent their country at an international level.
