Carmel High Girls Lead Nation with Record 39-Year Championship Streak

High School girls, who have won 39 straight titles since 1987. High School girls, who have won 39 straight titles since 1987. Guided by Coach Chris Plumb, the Greyhounds are widely regarded as the premier high school program in the nation and will pursue their 40th crown in February.

Swimming teams dominate the rankings, with Bolles (Fla.) boys and St. Xavier (Ky.) boys tied for second at 37 consecutive titles. Other long-running dynasties include Bolles girls (34) and Lander Valley (Wyo.) boys (29), cementing swimming as the sport with the most enduring streaks nationwide.
