A student football team from UNRWA’s Al-Aqsa Secondary School in Rashidieh camp has won the South Lebanon Schools Football Championship, defeating Al Houssam Secondary School in a thrilling 3-2 final. Representing both Rashidieh and Burj El Shemali camps, the team will now advance to the national championships, proudly carrying the hopes of their communities.
Their victory showcases not only athletic talent but also the resilience and ambition of Palestine Refugee youth. Led by standout players like captain Jad and top scorer Ali, the team’s journey underscores the transformative power of sports and education in marginalized communities.
