The U16 boys’ team from The King’s School Chester ended the Michaelmas Term on a high by regaining the Cheshire title, a trophy the school last lifted two years ago.

The victory completes a hat-trick of Cheshire titles for the programme, matching an achievement previously secured in 2024, when The King’s School Chester became the first school to claim titles across all three age groups.

In the final against Calday Grange Grammar School, the match proved to be closely contested. After Calday Grange took an early lead, two well-taken goals from Thomas Sinclair (5FOX) turned the game in King’s favour and secured the championship win.

The two sides are set to meet again in January, when they face each other in the England Hockey T2 Cup, adding further anticipation to the new term.
