Shayamoya High Aims for Redemption and Gold at DSNC National Finals

After an impressive win at the KwaZulu-Natal provincial finals, Shayamoya High School is setting its sights on national glory at the upcoming DStv Schools Netball Challenge (DSNC) finals, scheduled for July 25–26 in Boksburg. Crowned Botho stream champions, the team defeated Welabasha High School 25-15 to earn their spot among South Africa’s top school netball squads.

After an impressive win at the KwaZulu-Natal provincial finals, Shayamoya High School is setting its sights on national glory at the upcoming DStv Schools Netball Challenge (DSNC) finals, scheduled for July 25–26 in Boksburg. Crowned Botho stream champions, the team defeated Welabasha High School 25-15 to earn their spot among South Africa’s top school netball squads.

Led by determined goal defender Sinegugu Gamede, Shayamoya is focused on improving their fifth-place finish from 2024 and redeeming their performance from Wildeklawer SuperSchools. With national scouts watching and the support of coach Berto Mnikina, the team is ready to prove themselves as gold medal contenders in this premier school netball showcase.
