Sainik School Ambikapur triumphed at the All India Sainik School Football Tournament (Group F), held from April 21 to 25. The school emerged as the overall champion, outperforming teams from Korukonda, Bhubaneswar, Sambalpur, Bilaspur, and Bemetara. Ambikapur also dominated the junior and sub-junior boys' categories, securing victories in both, defeating Bhubaneswar 2-0 in the junior final and Bemetara 3-0 in the sub-junior competition.
In addition to Ambikapur's success, Sainik School Sambalpur claimed the girls' football title. The tournament was commended for its role in fostering values like discipline, teamwork, and leadership, offering cadets the opportunity to showcase their skills and sportsmanship. Individual awards were presented to outstanding cadets across all age groups, celebrating their exceptional performances.
