Safa School U12 Boys Crowned Champions at KL Tigers International Junior Rugby Tournament 2026

Safa School’s U12 boys rugby team secured the championship title at the KL Tigers International Junior Rugby Tournament 2026, held from 7–8 February at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The 2026 edition marked the largest staging of the tournament to date, with nearly 200 teams participating across multiple age categories ranging from U6 to U18. The event welcomed teams from Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Japan and the United Arab Emirates, drawing an estimated 8,000 to 10,000 spectators over two days of competition.

Competing in the U12 division, Safa School emerged as champions, concluding a successful campaign at one of the region’s most prominent youth rugby festivals. The school confirmed the achievement through its official social media channels, announcing the team as “U12 KL Tigers Cup Champions.”

The KL Tigers International Junior Rugby Tournament continues to strengthen its reputation as a key platform for emerging talent in Asia, providing young players with valuable international exposure while promoting the core values of teamwork, respect and resilience.
