Rusununguko High School Crowned 2025 NASH Under-20 Soccer Champions

Rusununguko High School from Goromonzi, Mashonaland East, made history by clinching both the boys’ and girls’ titles at the 2025 NASH Under-20 national soccer tournament, hosted in Masvingo. The boys’ final saw Rusununguko edge out Chibi High 4-2 on penalties after a tense goalless match, while the girls' team claimed their championship in a dominant showing.

This year's tournament featured teams from all 10 provinces, with Victoria High and Masvingo Christian College serving as host venues. Notably, Magwegwe High made a surprise return to the finals after a 10-year absence, ending Mpopoma's long-standing streak. The victory marks a milestone for Rusununguko, positioning the school as a rising powerhouse in Zimbabwean youth soccer.
