Young swimmers from around the world will head to London this May as the World School Swim Championships 2026 takes over the iconic London Aquatics Centre from 8–10 May. With entries rising and team lists growing, anticipation is building for an exciting weekend of international racing.

Now in its fifth edition, the championships have become one of the standout events in the school sport calendar. Swimmers from U11 to U19 will compete in individual and relay events, chasing medals while earning points for their schools and national teams.

The London Aquatics Centre, host venue of the 2012 Olympic Games, offers a rare chance for young athletes to race in truly world-class surroundings.

Beyond medals, the event is valued for the platform it provides. As one participating school said:

“The WSG event provides our students with the focus they need – a chance to perform on a global stage at the best facilities on earth.”

For swimmers who have trained all year, stepping onto pool deck in London represents more than competition - it reflects commitment, teamwork and school pride.
