Nomzamo High School’s senior girls netball team captured the Ubuntu section title in a thrilling 18–17 win over Kayamandi at the Western Cape DStv Schools Netball Challenge, sparking celebration on Bredasdorp Primary's courts. Coach Athi Dlakana praised her team’s resilience and expressed confidence that they can challenge for the national crown at the finals in Gauteng later this month.

Nomzamo High School’s senior girls netball team captured the Ubuntu section title in a thrilling 18–17 win over Kayamandi at the Western Cape DStv Schools Netball Challenge, sparking celebration on Bredasdorp Primary's courts. Coach Athi Dlakana praised her team’s resilience and expressed confidence that they can challenge for the national crown at the finals in Gauteng later this month.

Despite early setbacks against Tygerberg and Paarl Gim, Nomzamo rebounded to defeat Weston and Manzomthombo, securing their place at the nationals. Dlakana, who also teaches natural science, lauded the team’s discipline on and off the court, emphasizing their potential to shine among South Africa’s best school netball teams.
