In a rematch of the cancelled 2020 final, Wallace High School emerged victorious over RS Armagh at the Kingspan Stadium to lift the first Ulster Schools Cup in the schools history.

The St Patrick's Day showpiece did not disappoint as the much anticpated showdown started with both teams exchanging early scores before Wallace's forward pack proved why they were so well-respected in helping Wallace etch out a 17-10 lead at half-time. The Wallace front row in particular stood out, with two tries from prop Rio McDonagh and one from hooker James Gould.

The second half continued with the same energy with the Lisburn school maintaining control and gaining their fourth try through centre Luke Dillon, helping stretch their lead to 14. However, Armagh showed no signs of giving up and fought back through a try from impressive captain Thomas Dougan. They continued to put pressure on the Wallace defence but they held firm to secure a historic 24-15 victory, ending their long wait for glory in the world's second oldest rugby competition.
