Dubai played host to a spectacular 10th edition of The World School Games 2025, where Gulf schools dominated the podium after three days of intense and exhilarating competition. Over 1,000 athletes from 21 schools across eight countries and three continents gathered in the iconic city, competing in swimming, athletics, and football across U11, U13, and U15 age categories. With points awarded for individual and team performances, every race, sprint, and goal contributed to the ultimate goal — being crowned World Champions of School Sport.
The action began at the Hamdan Sports Complex with a vibrant opening ceremony, setting the stage for a thrilling day of swimming. Safa Community School emerged victorious in both the U13 (jointly with ACS Cobham, England) and U15 categories, while JESS Ranches topped the U11 division. Day 2 took the Games to Dubai Police Officer’s Club for a full day of athletics, where DIA Emirates Hills delivered a dominant performance to win the U13 athletics title. With energy high and the championship in sight, the final day saw fierce football battles at ISD Dubai Sports City, where Gulf schools once again proved their prowess.
In a clean sweep, Gulf schools captured all football cup championships, with standout performances by Safa Community School securing victories in four categories, and DIA Emirates Hills taking two. The grand finale at the Els Club saw Safa Community School crowned overall champions in the U11 and U15 categories, while DIA Emirates Hills claimed the U13 title.
