Brookfield Community School’s Under-14 netball team delivered an impressive performance at the County Round of the National Schools Netball Tournament, earning the title of County Champions. Representing the school with confidence and consistency, the Year 9 players competed in eight matches, winning seven and drawing one. Their strong run through the tournament has secured them a place in the Regional Round, scheduled for the end of January.
What stood out just as much as their results was the way they carried themselves throughout the day. Teachers, umpires, and spectators praised the team not only for their skill on the court but also for their sportsmanship and attitude. Their success reflected hard work, teamwork, and real commitment, making this a proud moment for both the players and their coaches. Brookfield now heads into the next stage with plenty to celebrate and even more to aim for.
