American School of Guatemala secure double podium finish at AASCA Volleyball 2026 Atlantic Division

The American School of Guatemala delivered an impressive performance at the AASCA Volleyball 2026 (Atlantic Division), held at Village School Guatemala from March 18 to 22.

A total of 10 teams competed in this year’s tournament, with ASG showcasing consistency and resilience throughout the competition. Both the girls’ and boys’ teams secured third-place finishes, underlining the strength of the school’s volleyball programme.

In the third-place matches, both teams claimed victories over host school Village School Guatemala to confirm their positions on the podium. The results reflected their ability to perform under pressure and finish the tournament strongly.

Across the competition, ASG teams demonstrated discipline, teamwork, and intensity, with each match highlighting their collective effort and competitive mindset.

Individual performances were also recognised, with Rosalía Stahl and Adrián Chacón named MVPs for their standout contributions.

María José Perdomo, Pamela Alvarado, Alfonso Molina, and Mateo Castillo earned All-Star selections, acknowledging their consistent impact throughout the tournament.

Meanwhile, Cristina Stahl and Cristian Rivera received the Sportsmanship Awards, recognising their exemplary attitude and conduct on and off the court.

The tournament concluded as a positive campaign for the American School of Guatemala, with both teams finishing on the podium and multiple players earning individual honours in a competitive field of 10 schools.
